Look of the Day: Black Jumpsuit & Vintage Coach

Holy shit. Two weeks in and I'm just now writing my first blog post of the year. Shameful! I guess my only resolution is to get back on the ball when it comes to blogging. I miss it. I've got a few other posts plan. Some outfits, etc, so stay tuned!

How's your 2016 so far?

This faded burgundy bag is one of my newest Coach bags. It's from the 1970s and is one of the famed "New York City bags", meaning it was made in the Coach factory in NYC before they expanded in the 1980s. If you're interested, it's for sale in my Etsy shop.

Breaking Rules

According to rules of taste, these pants should not be worn by anyone. They are ridiculously loud and rather shapeless. Yet somehow, they are not completely unflattering.

Underneath the sweater, the pants are attached to a tube top, so technically it's a jumpsuit. But the elastic is fading and the top is no where near as awesome as the bottoms. This is where the cropped sweater comes in.

It gives the whole thing a slouchy, yet polished look. Think 80's power-suit goes on vacation.
