Colors are always my starting point. They're what I first react to when I'm shopping and are probably one of the most important factors when I'm deciding to buy something or not. Needless to say, I really love colors, so I thought Coach's latest project ColorTag. There are so many colors! It was hard to choose, but I decided to go with #pool, since it matched my blog so nicely. Maybe I'll post more colors later, if I can figure out how to work them into a post. It's unfortunate it's just a giant square. Not sure why they didn't make a nice little circle like they have on the website...
Anyhoo, the blog that generates the most ColorTags, wins a $2500 Coach giftcard!! So please help me out by sharing the project via Twitter, Facebook, etc. If you're part of the project, please let me know, and I would be happy to return the favor!

My favorite patterns
Oh, polka dots. Oh, stripes. I love you both equally. Don't make me choose! We can make this work!

Emerald City & a Yellow Brick Wall

I'm actually not a huge fan of The Wizard of Oz, but I couldn't help noticing the similarities. Here I am on the yellow brick wall and my husband definitely doesn't live in Kansas anymore. Then there is the whole "little dog" bit.
She represents both the obvious Toto and the part where someone needs a brain.
And here we are in the Emerald City. Such a glorious place. You can say what you want about our weather, but this place is just spectacular.
Looking out over the sound from Discovery Park.
I learned something important over the years. The bitter parts in life are just there to make the sweeter parts that much sweeter. The gray days are there to make the sunny ones that much brighter.
Looking forward to more t-shirt days!

Productive!
Getting stuff done feels so good. I worked in the office for 3 hours, started on laundry, mopped the kitchen and bathroom, and ate delicious soup! Now all I have left on my official list is to show someone a rental house. I really wanted to take some pictures for the blog, especially since the weather is gorgeous here, but there are workers right outside my window. They won't leave! Hopefully it will be just as nice tomorrow. I have new treasure I found in my boyfriend's collection that I'm really excited to work with.
Until then, enjoy these plaid-y pictures I took last week.

Finally
Perfect, wonderful lighting. It's turned out to be a very bright day and I am home at the right hour to get some good pictures.
I want all of the old Coach bags. The vintage ones are just so sturdy and gorgeous. I keep almost buying all the black ones I can find on eBay. And have you seen them in Forest Green? Incredible. When I recover from my car repairs ($900!!!) maybe I will hunt down a nice one. The one I own I inherited from my step-mom and I'm very close to taking my mom's little black one as well. The classic designs are also still available through the Coach website! Just click this link Classic Coach
